Recent global events have been difficult to process. It has been such an uplifting morning reading Happy Birthday wishes to me here in my music studio from wonderful friends on Facebook, and thinking how grateful I am for happy kind thoughts from such loving people in my life. It has been such a happy joy to work with students of all ages. Whether on the guitar, or with businesses or recording artists, with non-profit events, music biz/PR; film, or film festing, I have been inspired by my students' creativity and amazing progress. It has been a satisfying, happy experience seeing the gains and accomplishments of my students.

I was particularly excited in 2023-24 to see one of my private recording artist students being nominated for a JUNO Award, (chosen with 5-6 other candidates) and now progressing beautifully with a solid international career.

I teach guitar to all levels, beginner film, film festing approaches for the wins, writing, and songwriting. l am additionally skilled (11 years) in helping businesses and non-profits with publicity and writing techniques for events. I have been working with top JUNO and Polaris Music Prize award-winning musicians since 2000. I have worked with top international and Canadian artists as a writer for All About Jazz, INSPIRED 55+, Canadian Musician, and DownBeat (2016-20), amongst others, and with my radio/TV producer/hosting, and music juror and DownBeat Critics Poll judging.

l also work online with my guitar and singing bowls with sessions and instruction in the relaxing soothing art of sound bathing.
