YOUR GO-TO GUIDE TO BECOMING A guitarist

As a self-made creative and musician, I understand the struggles of trying to learn an instrument and make it on your own studying the guitar online in the music industry. I became aware of self-studying students learning rhythms and materials incorrectly and struggling to decipher guitar TAB or learning a song by ear. Many times they learned guitar technique incorrectly developing very poor habits for learning to acquire speed later when soloing. Some students had no concept of how understanding basic principles of music theory could assist them in leaps and bounds. Others just wanted to study by ear, but sometimes were flattened by poor guitar technique.

I believe in sharing guitar tips and my story of how I achieved some of my own goals as a music graduate and a 16-time award-winning guitarist/composer-bandleader, and TV Director/filmmaker.

With my other interests like music and jazz writing (DownBeat 2016-2020), organic gardening, and art, I especially enjoy mentoring beginning guitar and film students, as well as recording artists, and assisting the local Canadian and USA community.
